Air conditioning rental in Càlig

An inland village, not a beach town

The difference from the coast shows most at night: Càlig gets none of the sea breeze that cools the seafront flats, so the heat stored during the day stays inside the house until the early hours. That is why air conditioning here is rented less for the middle of the day than for being able to sleep, and the usual pattern is the unit in the bedroom overnight and in the living room in the afternoon.

Village houses with no pre-installation

Much of the old centre of Càlig is thick-walled village houses, several storeys high, with no air conditioning pre-installation whatsoever: no pipework, no space for an outdoor unit and facades nobody wants drilled. A portable unit fits exactly that scenario, because it only needs a window or a vent for the hot-air outlet, and when it goes back the house is left exactly as it was.

Second homes and rural lets

Many houses in Càlig are used for only part of the year: family second homes, inherited houses and rural accommodation let out by the season. Fitting a permanent split for a few weeks does not add up, and renting means cooling only while the house is occupied. If you manage a rural let, we can time the delivery to your guests' arrival.

What the rental includes

It covers delivery to your address in Càlig, assembly of the unit, fitting the air outlet and a working test with you present. At the end we collect it on the agreed day. Being minutes from our base in Benicarló, we can also drop by to check the unit mid-rental if something is not working as it should.
